He pointed out that there is currently a disconnect between the talent cultivated by universities and enterprise needs, and that educational concepts and technologies lag behind social development. He shared practical cases of building a "person-job matching" talent service platform and an "one-body-two-wings" industry-education integration service platform. He proposed that higher and vocational education should adhere to a "user-centered, demand-oriented" approach, keep pace with the times, target frontier technologies and the needs of regional economic and social development, seize the strategic opportunities brought by the rapid iteration of AI technologies, apply the principles of large models, rely on industrial big-data resources, and construct an industry–occupation–major spectrum map to achieve the "dual alignment" between talent cultivation needs and enterprise position needs, local economic and social development needs, as well as knowledge graphs and capability graphs. Using industry-education integration as the lever and technological innovation as the engine, the deep integration of the education chain, talent chain, industry chain, and innovation chain should be realized to boost industrial and local economic development. He proposed that the Greater Bay Area, as one of China's regions with the highest degree of openness and strongest economic vitality, possesses superior conditions to pioneer and build a demonstration platform for industry-education integration in higher and vocational education in the AI era.

28.jpg

Mr. Zhang Fangyang, President of Huizhou City College, delivered a keynote titled "The Dual Waves of the Era — The Restructuring, Governance, and Future of the Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence."
